How to Enroll
Instructions During Open Enrollment
- Enroll in your benefits online via Dayforce from a web browser (e.g., Chrome, FireFox). Go to dayforcehcm.com/aifire. You now also have the option to enroll by phone, using the Dayforce app.
- Enroll in or Waive each coverage option.
- Review and complete or update (if needed) your Beneficiary designations for the employer-paid Basic Life and AD&D.
- Choose whether you want Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs). Select how much you want to contribution for the year, planning carefully and being aware of the annual limits.
- Remember that if you want Voluntary Life / AD&D insurance, you must select it during Open Enrollment.

What happens if you don’t enroll?
During an annual Open Enrollment period, if you do not take action and enroll, you will not have any Medical, Dental or Vision coverage for the coming year, or be able to use the FSAs.
Per IRS rules, you can only make changes to most of your benefits during Open Enrollment or when you experience a qualified life event — certain changes in your situation like getting married, having a baby, or losing health coverage. If you experience one of these events after Open Enrollment, you have 30 days from the date of the event to submit a Life Event Declaration Form in Dayforce.
